BugStopper™

The BugStopper™ is a unique device which gives a simple and reliable way of venting your culture vessels. It is a reusable, sterile 
closure, made from biosafe silicone rubber and incorporates a hydrophobic glass microfibre filter that provides an aseptic vent.

Available in two sizes, BugStopper will fit most widely used culture flasks. BugStopper allows air to enter and exit the flask while 
excluding bacteria and viruses. This eliminates contamination of both the contents as well as the outside environment.

The self-healing silicone wall of the BugStopper can be pierced with needles for inserting a sample port or for gas infusion. This is not 
recommended for the BugStopper 10 because of the wall thickness.

The BugStopper is easy to use; you simply push it into the neck of the flask and autoclave the entire vessel. It is also economical 
because it can be autoclaved again and again without loss of performance. BugStopper 10 has an enhanced feature, a protective shroud covering the lip of the flask.
