Flowgen Bioscience MicroSieve 3:1 Agarose

This molecular screening agarose is designed to have a larger gel network than Metasieve 
and is recommended for the separation of DNA fragments smaller than 1500bp. Microsieve 
3:1 gels are exceptionally firm but still flexible when handled, minimising the danger of 
cracking or breaking. Microsieve 3:1 also gives excellent resolution at concentrations <1%.

 



For fine resolution of fragments 500-1500bp

This is a low melting temperature agarose with high resolving capacity of DNA fragments 
such as PCR products ranging from 200-800 bp. MicroSieve Clone Low Melt is compatible 
with enzymes, making it very easy to recover small DNA fragments suitable for cloning or 
enzymatic processing. Genetic Quality Test (GQT) certificate is included.

MegaSieve Agarose is a linear polymer with a very high molecular weight that yields a 
gel structure unlike that of traditional agaroses. This characteristic, added to the very low 
sulphate content, produces a strong intercatenary interaction, yielding a gel with very high 
gel strength and higher exclusion limit. Megasieve has a high electrophoretic mobility that 
reduces run time (depending on buffer and agarose concentration used).
