Flowgen Bioscience SequaFLOWGel Acrylamide
L1-22
Flowgen SequaFLOW products include:
SequaFLOWGels 6 and 8 Sequencing Solutions (SequaFLOWGel Monomer Solution +
SequaFLOWGel Complete Buffer). The SequaFLOWGel Monomer Solution contains urea,
as well as acrylamide and bis-acrylamide in the standard 19:1 ratio. SequaFLOWGel
Complete Buffer Solutions contain TBE and TEMED to form 6 and 8% gels.
The SequaFLOWGel Sequencing System consists of SequaFLOWGel Concentrate,
SequaFLOWGel Diluent, and SequaFLOWGel Buffer to provide a convenient, reliable
means to prepare gels of varying percentage.
SequaFLOWGel Concentrate, Diluent, and Buffer are stable for one year when stored
tightly capped, in a dark area at room temperature (20°C).
SequaFLOWGel XR, formulated to produce greater resolution and more information - up
to 500 DNA bands on a single-load gel.
Key features:
Ready-to-use 19:1 denaturing DNA gel solutions
Reliable with consistently crystal clear gels
Aldehyde and ammonia free
Twelve month shelf life at room temperature

Flowgen Bioscience AcrylaFLOWGel 30% Acrylamide Solution
L1-22
AcrylaFLOWGel is a ready-to-use, 30% acrylamide solution in distilled/ deionised water.
Because acrylamide in its crystalline form is subject to self-polymerisation, the purity and
consistency of polymerised AcrylaFLOWGel is superior to that obtainable with powdered
acrylamide. The solutions are aldehyde free and acrylic acid free and are stabilised for a
2 year shelf life.

Flowgen Bioscience Protogel Quick Cast 12% Acrylamide Gel
L1-22
With the introduction of ProtoGel Quick-Cast, the time required for casting gels for protein
separation has been reduced from 2 hours to under 25 minutes, and the number of steps
involved has been cut from 10 to only 3. With ProtoGel Quick-Cast, simply measure out the
amount needed, add initiators and cast the gel. No mixing, no multiple measurements, no
need for a second casting to produce a stacking gel.
Run in standard 1X Tris-Glycine SDS, typically gels 170V for 60 minutes
No special handling required - stain according to standard protocols
ProtoGel Quick-Cast is stable for 24 months when stored tightly capped in the refrigerator

Flowgen Bioscience Tris-Glycine Electroblotting Buffer (10X)
L1-22
Tris-Glycine Electroblotting Buffer (10X) is a concentrated solution in distilled/ deionised
water. This buffer is intended to act as the tank buffer in Western electro-blotting procedures.
It is also the recommended buffer for use with nitrocellulose and nylon membranes. Tris-
Glycine Electroblotting Buffer (10X) is already in solution which eliminates the weighing,
mixing and adjusting of the pH necessary with powdered buffers. To prepare 1 litre of
working strength buffer, add 100ml of Tris-Glycine Electroblotting Buffer to 200ml of
methanol and 700ml of distilled/ deionised water. Tris-Glycine Electroblotting Buffer (10X)
is supplied in 1 and 4 litre bottles containing 0.20M Tris base and 1.50M glycine.
