capacity coupled with low background. The 0.2µm pore size Protran (BA83) nitrocellulose 
membrane has high surface area, ensuring binding of small proteins below 20kDa by 
reducing ‘blow-through’. The 0.45µm pore size Protran (BA85) is suitable for larger sizes, 
whilst the 0.1µm pore size - BA79 is the choice for proteins below 7kDa.
